Terms of Service

1. Agreement

By creating an account or using Chairpilot at chairpilot.app, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the platform. “Chairpilot”, “we”, “us”, and “our” refer to the Chairpilot service. “You” refers to the business owner using the platform.

2. The service

Chairpilot provides a booking, marketing, and business management platform for booking businesses — including barbers, hair salons, and beauty studios. Features include a client-facing booking page, appointment management, revenue tracking, marketing asset generation, and content planning tools.

3. Your account

• You must provide accurate information when creating your account.
• You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure.
• You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.
• You must be at least 18 years old to use Chairpilot.
• One account per person or business. Do not share accounts.

4. Subscriptions and billing

• Chairpilot is a paid subscription service. Pricing is displayed at the time of sign-up.
• A 7-day free trial is available to new accounts. No charge is made until the trial ends.
• Subscriptions renew automatically each month unless cancelled.
• You may cancel at any time. Access continues until the end of your current billing period.
• We do not offer refunds for partial billing periods.
• Payments are processed by Stripe. By subscribing you also agree to Stripe's terms.

5. Acceptable use

You may not use Chairpilot to:

• Violate any applicable laws or regulations.
• Collect bookings for services you do not intend to provide.
• Upload content that is offensive, defamatory, or infringes third-party rights.
• Attempt to reverse engineer, copy, or resell the platform.
• Interfere with the security or integrity of the service.

6. Your content

You retain ownership of content you upload to Chairpilot (photos, business information, etc.). By uploading content, you grant us a limited licence to use it solely to provide the service — for example, to generate your marketing assets or display your booking page. We will not use your content for any other purpose.

7. Your clients

You are solely responsible for the services you provide to clients who book through Chairpilot. We are a software platform, not a party to any appointment or service agreement between you and your clients. Any disputes between you and your clients are your responsibility to resolve.

8. Availability

We aim to keep Chairpilot available at all times but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. We may carry out maintenance, updates, or experience downtime beyond our control. We are not liable for losses resulting from temporary unavailability.

9. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Chairpilot is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the platform, including lost revenue, missed bookings, or data loss. Our total liability to you in any month shall not exceed the subscription fee you paid in that month.

10. Termination

You may cancel your account at any time from your billing settings. We may suspend or terminate your account if you breach these terms, with or without notice. Upon termination, your booking page and dashboard will no longer be accessible.

11. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. We'll notify you of material changes by email. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.

12. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Ireland. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Irish courts.
